The Department is one of the major departments under college of Engineering Thalassery. Currently there are two batches in electronics under CUSAT. The department offers B.tech course in Electronics and Communication Engineering with an annual intake of 132 students. The department is well equipped with laboratories like Communication Lab, Advanced Communication Lab, Microprocessor Lab, Advanced microprocessor Lab, Electronics Circuits Lab, etc..
