About Us
The College of Engineering, Thalassery was established in the year 2000.The institution comes under the Co-operative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE), Thiruvananthapuram. The College of Engineering, Thalassery is located at Kundoormala, Eranholi (West Ponniam) 6.5 km east of Thalassery town in Kannur (Cannanore) district. The college is situated on a hilltop with
the Arabian Sea on one side and the Western Ghats on the other. The site is easily accessible by road. One can alight at the Thalassery bus stand and catch one of the frequent buses to Kuthuparamba and alight at West Ponniam. Those traveling by train should alight at Thalassery Railway Station and get the bus to Kuthuparamba from the Thalassery Bus Stand.The College is affiliated to the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). The College Offers B-Tech courses in the following five Engineering streams with a sanctioned strength of 66 students in each branch per year.

The institution is under the category of self-financing college, where admission is made as per the rank obtained by eligible candidates in the state-level Common Entrance Exam conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Kerala State.
